You can order in the same way whether you are in Canada or anywhere in the world. You can either order directly from this web site, via our secure shopping cart system, or you can call us, toll free at 1-877-665-9921 (In Canada and the U.S.A.). When we receive your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. Orders are generally filled out and shipped within 48 hours (during business hours). If an item is not available, we will contact you within 48 hours and suggest an alternative.

Prices and Currency
All our Prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD), as we are a Canadian based retailer. There is a multitude of internet sites that specialize in currency exchange. Here is a link to "The Universal Currency Converter" for your convenience. Please note that Mountainmagic.com can make no guarantees as to the accuracy of this information, but it will give you a general idea of the amount in your currency.
Payment Method
Mountain Magic accepts two internationally recognized credit card companies: Master Card and Visa. Concerning international orders, when you purchase an item from outside Canada, Credit Card Companies will automatically convert the Canadian Dollars to your country's currency on your statement. Contact Master Card or Visa concerning their respective exchange rates and specifications.

Returns and Exchanges
If there are any problems with your order, and you would like to return merchandise, please follow the instructions below. The total amount of the item will be reimbursed to the customer's credit card upon reception by Mountain Magic Equipment. Shipping on exchanged items is not included.
Please read the following:
- Before returning an item, please notify us, preferably by phone. We will be glad to help you in making this process as straight forward as possible.
- Please include a short note specifying the reason for the return, a request for a refund or an exchange and your name, phone number, and mailing address. This will insure a quick process of your request.
- Items returned must be in new and saleable condition. Returns must be in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging, including all packaging materials, such as instruction booklets, inserts, bags, and the original unfilled warranty card.
- Mountain Magic Equipment extend a 14-day customer satisfaction guarantee period. Items must be returned within 14 days of reception by customer.
- A copy of your original receipt must be included with the returned item.
- Please note that we do not accept returns on climbing safety equipment, like protection (contact us for details).
Customers are responsible for shipping of the returned merchandise. Within Canada, return items via prepaid, insured Regular Parcel Post. From the USA and International destinations, return product by insured Surface Mail along with "CANADIAN Goods Returning" written on the outside of the box. Do not return items by UPS or other carriers, as they charge us duty and/or brokerage fees. Any brokerage and/or duty, or C.O.D. (Charge on Delivery) fee on arriving returns will be charged back to customers.
If you are returning an item for warranty or repair please clean or launder first.

Customs, Duty and Brokerage
Duty and Brokerage fees are charged separately to the consignee by their country's Customs Service and by the Custom Broker, after merchandise has been cleared through customs. These two different charges are not handled by Mountain Magic Equipment. Furthermore, the process of clearing customs is usually executed in a small period of time, but can influence the arrival date of an order to its destination in different countries. This process is the responsibility of a country's Customs Service. Customs Duty (or Tariff) is a tax on imported goods (or merchandise entering a country). Tariff rates are different in each country, they vary each year and for different types of merchandise. Brokerage is a commission earned by brokers. Customs brokers are firms who facilitate the process of applying duties accordingly to imported goods and clearing this merchandise through customs for the consignee.

Product Pricing and AvailabilityPrices are subject to change without notice depending on fluctuating currencies and prices from the manufacturers. Products are subject to availability. We will contact you before processing your order if an item is unavailable or out of stock. We can hold the order for you and ship it when we receive more stock.
Product Specifications
Manufacturers can at times, change some product's minor characteristics like weight, colours, and materials without notice. Major changes will be accounted for in the product description on our web site. Product specs, like weight, material, dimensions, etc, are taken directly from the manufacturer's product specs.

We follow the Manufacturer Product Warranty for all the products we sell. If an item purchased from Mountain Magic Equipment appears to be defectuous, please contact us. We will be glad to help you. We offer a warranty service to our customer, contact us for detail.
