For steep ice and mixed climbers, the Lockdown provides ease of entry and exit with a hassle-free design. The sliding wrist loop locks on to your wrist when weighted and releases easily when the pull loop is hooked over the head of the ice tool. The plastic buckle lets you pre-determine how tightly the leash wrist loop closes.
