Made with experienced ski tourers in mind, the G3 Onyx is a performance-oriented Tech-style binding. It's light like a Tech binding, but the mechanical refinements enhance its releasability, retention, and skiability. It switches from tour to ski mode on the fly, and handles both long tours and aggressive descents well.
